The theme of the second Master Class of Neurovascular Anatomy is the spinal cord vascular supply, namely the arteries supplying the spine and the spinal cord, and the veins draining the spine and the spinal cord.
All aspects of their development as well as adult radiological and surgical anatomy will be covered.
Anatomical variation and general organization principles will be discussed including:
somitogenesis and the segmentation of the paraxial mesoderm, and embryology of intersegmental arteries and spinal arterial supply.
Two interactive sessions will provide the opportunity to present interesting anatomical observations and all participants are encouraged
to participate by preparing cases and interacting with the different speakers.
The second Master Class of Neurovascular Anatomy will be hosted at the heart of Paris, France, at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, a historic beacon of patient care in neurological diseases, in the Brain Institute, a leading institution in Neuroscience Research.
